Non so se è roba da fissati ma ogni volta che punto un posto per le vacanze mi perdo a cercare strutture da sogno su Pinterest, ville di design, resort da urlo (quando vedi i prezzi intendo) pur sapendo che tanto finirò per prenotare una camera di un b&b spoglio a 30 minuti (in salita) dalla spiaggia – ché noi gente normale si va in vacanza in agosto quando è pieno così, costa il triplo e vieni circondato da famiglie con bambini urlanti. Non per i bambini eh… ma le famiglie :-p
Fatto sta che tra le tante opzioni che avevo puntato (prima di vedere gli allucinanti orari e prezzi dei voli) c’era Maiorca, che a quanto pare è un paradiso in cui mi trasferirei volentieri. Non ci andrò assolutamente ma nel frattempo mi sono innamorata di questo “hotel rural con encanto” (già il nome ciao) e delle sue stanze da bagno. Gli potrei perfino perdonare il fatto che non c’è il bidet.
Il Prendi Son Jaumell è un boutique hotel situato nell’entroterra di Maiorca. Ha 24 suite tutte con vista sul verde, perché è completamente immerso nella campagna dell’isola. Tutte le stanze da bagno sono ampie, luminose e dotate sia di vasca idromassaggio che di doccia.

For the second post of Bathroom Crush Column today we’ll fly to Mallorca, one of my dream mediterranean island. I’ve found this wonderful boutique hotel while browsing and looking for a place to go on holiday. It was a month ago more or less, before thinking of a great Andalusian tour (later many things happened and I had to give up… but this is another story).
It’s a bad habit (is it??) of mine, every time I start planning a trip I also start browsing among charming interiors and stunning bathrooms. I cannot resist, even if at the end I know that I’ll book an anonymous b&b with no view and no cool bathroom. Well, I really hope that one day I’ll fly to Mallorca and stay at this dream boutique hotel ♥. Dreaming is still free 😉
Prendi Son Jaumell is a cozy boutique hotel (in spanish it sounds better: “hotel rural con encanto!”) located in the heart of Mallorca’s countryside, in a completely renovated building that dates back to the 17th century.
The hotel boasts 24 suites, each decorated in its own unique style, with big and bright bathrooms with both bathtub and shower zone. I.do.love.it.
